This Level 1 qualification is designed to provide candidates with fundamental knowledge and understanding of health and safety in a construction environment.


CITB Site Supervisor (SSSTS)

This two day SSSTS training course is intended for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities. Through completing the course supervisors will be provided with an ability to understand health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, as well as their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities.


CITB Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)

This 5 day SMSTS Training course is designed for site managers, site agents and persons who are, or due to be, responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff and a workforce.


Onsite Assessment and Training (NVQ) In Construction

This course is for anyone wishing to demonstrate occupational competence in particular duties within the construction and civil engineering industries.


Confined Space Entry for Operatives, Supervisors and Managers

The training is designed for persons required to access high risk confined spaces. Spaces that include non-standard entry and complex operations that introduce additional risks and require specific controls and rescue arrangements.


Temporary Works Supervisor Training Course (TWSTC)

This one day course is designed to assist those on site who have responsibility for supervising temporary works. The course gives emphasis throughout to the importance of communication, co-ordination, co-operation and competency (the ‘4 Cs’), risk management, safety and business relations.


Temporary Works Coordinator

This course is for those on site with responsibility for managing all forms of temporary works. It is designed to give confidence to senior management and those who engage with contractors, that candidates have reached an assessed standard of knowledge.


CDM Awareness

This course will identify existing and new requirements together with the guidance needed to ensure the new regulations are complied with.
